Distribution Associate II- Forklift

Hiring a Distribution Associate to assist with warehouse distribution. The best fit is someone that has general warehouse, forklift, shipping / receiving experience. The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. LOCATION: DFW Airport, TX 75261
POSITION: Right to Hire
PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
HOURS: 12:00pm to 8:30pm with OT as needed

DUTIES:

• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift.
• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED
• 10 Years of Warehouse or Distribution experience Required
• 10 Years of Forklift experience Required
• 5 Years of Stand-Up Forklift (Reach) Required
• Large Distirbution experience using stand up forklifts Required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to complete required pre-employment screening
• Must have required steel-toe safety footwear by the first day of work.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
